Skola letenja PPL(A) obuka

1. PPL(A) – Private Pilot License

The PPL (Private Pilot License) allows pilots to fly as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) or as co-pilot on non-commercial flights. This license is the first step in a pilot’s career and serves as the basic qualification for those who wish to fly recreationally or pursue further training toward a professional pilot path.

Requirements:

Theory – A flexible course with instructor support

Theory course for the PPL(A) license lasts between 6 and 12 weeks, depending on each candidate’s learning pace. The program combines 90 hours of interactive online lessons with 10 hours of classroom instruction. After completing the theoretical part, candidates take in-school exams to confirm their readiness to begin practical flight training.

Practical training – 45 flight hours with experienced instructors

Out of the total 45 flight hours, candidates fly 10 hours independently under the supervision of an instructor. This phase of training is essential, as it helps future pilots build confidence and develop full control of the aircraft. After completing the training, you will receive your PPL license — the first step toward a professional pilot career!

2. LAPL(A) – Light Aircraft Pilot License

The LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot License) is a great option for pilots who want a simpler license for flying light aircraft with a limited number of passengers.

Requirements:

Theory – A flexible course with instructor support

Theory course for the PPL(A) license lasts between 6 and 12 weeks, depending on each candidate’s learning pace. The program combines 90 hours of interactive online lessons with 10 hours of classroom lessons. After completing the theoretical part, candidates take supervised exams at our classroom to confirm they are ready for practical training.

Practical training – 30 flight hours in modern aircrafts

Out of the total 30 hours of training, candidates spend 6 hours flying independently, gaining confidence and experience in operating the aircraft without instructor assistance. After successfully finishing the course, you will receive your LAPL(A) license!

Skola letenja time building

3. Time Building – Building flight hours through international flights

Time building is an essential step for pilots who are pursuing professional pilot licenses. During this process, pilots fly independently to accumulate the required flight hours. Time building is available only to pilots who hold a PPL(A) or LAPL(A) license.

Program overview:

Time Building

Time Building at Air Lo flight academy gives you the opportunity to expand your experience, refine your navigation skills, and log flight hours in an international environment — preparing you for the next step in your pilot career.

Skola letenja night rating

4. Night Rating – Night flying authorization

Night Rating (NR) is an additional qualification that allows pilots to fly safely and legally at night under visual flight conditions. With this endorsement, pilots can fly at night as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on aircraft listed in their license, while enhancing their navigation skills and overall safety awareness.

Requirements:

Theory course - Preparation for night flights

First part of the training is held the day before the start of practical instruction, in the school’s classroom. During this session, candidates go through the fundamental principles of night flying.

Practical training - 5 to 8 hours of night flying

After the theoretical preparation, candidates move on to practical training. The duration of the training depends on the type of license: 5 flight hours for candidates with a PPL(A) license, and 8 flight hours for those with a LAPL(A) license. The training is conducted in modern aircrafts equipped with full night-flying instrumentation, under the supervision of an instructor.
